For South Zone, vice-captain and wicketkeeper-batter N. Jagadeesan scored an impressive 197 off 352 balls, featuring 16 fours and 2 sixes, putting his team in a solid position.
Besides Devdutt Padikkal’s contribution of 57 from the previous day, South Zone also received valuable fifties from Ricky Bhui (54) and Tanay Thyagarajan (58), with Salman Nizar and Gurjapneet Singh both adding 29 runs.
