“A few hours ago, there was an explosion close to our location at the airport. My coach had to quickly flee the area as he was nearest to the smoke and debris. It was an incredibly tense and frightening moment for us all,” she recounted.
Fortunately, Sindhu later confirmed that all individuals were safe and had been moved to a more secure area within the airport complex. She commended the airport personnel and diplomatic officials for their prompt assistance during this critical situation.
Sindhu expressed her appreciation to the staff at Dubai International Airport and local authorities for ensuring their safety. She also thanked the Indian High Commission in Dubai for its unwavering support and coordination during the crisis.
“For now, we are attempting to rest and remain hopeful as we await a resolution,” Sindhu concluded.
