New Delhi, March 2 (NationPress) The upcoming Sports Journalists Federation of India (SJFI) National Convention 2026 is set to take place in New Delhi from March 13 to 16, signifying the return of this esteemed annual event to the national capital after a gap of 23 years.

The National Convention, hosted by the Delhi Sports Journalist Association (DSJA), will also commemorate the Golden Jubilee of SJFI, rendering it one of the most momentous editions in its history.

SJFI holds recognition and affiliation with the International Sports Press Association (AIPS), the global body representing sports journalists.

This National Convention aims to unite sports journalists from all regions—North, East, West, and South—alongside prominent figures from Indian sports, administration, and broadcasting. Supported by key industry players and notable brands, the 2026 edition is anticipated to be the largest and most influential in the federation’s history.

Over the span of four days, the event will feature significant professional discussions coupled with competitive sporting events and extensive networking opportunities. The agenda includes a Grand Sports Conclave with leading administrators and Olympic legends, the JK Bose Inter-Zonal T20 Cricket Tournament, the AC Bali Table Tennis Tournament, engaging family and youth activities like the Modern Pythian Games, and a spectacular Finals and Closing Ceremony with distinguished guests.
