Munich, June 13 (NationPress) Indian shooting sensation Suruchi Singh clinched a gold medal in the Women's 10m Air Pistol event during the ongoing ISSF Shooting World Cup on Friday. Suruchi, who amassed a total of 241.9 points, narrowly defeated France's Camille Jedrzejewski by a mere 0.2 points in an exhilarating final to secure the top position.
China's Yao Qianxun claimed the bronze medal with a score of 221.7.
The 19-year-old marksman completed a remarkable hat-trick of individual gold medals, marking her fourth overall win, after a stellar performance in Buenos Aires and Lima this April.
Originating from Jhajjar in Haryana, Suruchi led the final from the very beginning, starting strong with an initial round score of 52.1 and followed it up with 101.5 in the second round.
