Vadodara, Jan 4 (NationPress) Syndrela Das from India achieved her second victory in as many days by partnering with Sarthak Arya to capture the U-19 mixed doubles title at the WTT Youth Contender 2026, held at the SAMA Indoor Sports Complex this Sunday.

The second edition of the WTT Youth Contender event in Vadodara, organized by the Sports Authority of Gujarat and executed by the Table Tennis Association of Baroda in collaboration with UTT, features an impressive field of 226 competitors across age groups ranging from U-11 to U-19.

In the final match for U-19 mixed doubles, Syndrela and Sarthak showcased their prowess by decisively defeating the top-seeded duo of Abhinandh Pradhivadhi and Ananya Muralidharan with scores of 11-3, 11-9, 11-3 to secure the championship.

Earlier that day, Syndrela also clinched the girls' U-17 singles title and remains a strong contender for her U-19 singles title.

In the U-15 mixed doubles category, Vivaan Dave and Naisha Rewaskar triumphed over Reyansh Jalan and Tanishka Kalbhairav with a scoreline of 11-8, 11-8, 11-3.
