London, May 23 (NationPress) Ivan Toney has made a comeback, while Trevor Chalobah receives his inaugural call-up as head coach Thomas Tuchel unveils the England men’s senior squad set to face Andorra and Senegal in June.
The selected squad consists of 26 players for the upcoming fixtures, kicking off on June 7 with the European Qualifier for the 2026 World Cup against Andorra in Barcelona.
The Three Lions will then return to England for an international match against Senegal at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground on June 10.
Tuchel has granted a first senior call-up to Chelsea’s Chalobah, who has previously played for England at U16 through U21 levels.
Former Brentford forward Toney is returning to the squad at 29 years of age after joining Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli last summer. Toney was part of the squad that reached the finals of the 2024 European Championship but was omitted from Tuchel’s squad in March. However, his impressive tally of 28 goals in 42 appearances for Al-Ahli this season has secured his spot back.
Additionally, Bukayo Saka, Conor Gallagher, Noni Madueke, and Trent Alexander-Arnold also feature in the squad for the first time under Tuchel’s guidance.
The group will gather in early June to head to Spain for preparations for the Andorra match, before returning to the Midlands for their following game.
