Kota, April 21 (NationPress) The second day of the Under-20 National Wrestling Championship showcased an exhilarating exhibition of skill, strength, and stamina as aspiring wrestlers from all over India competed for national honor at the Raghurai Indoor Sports Complex in Kota on Monday.

The day's events included competitions across three Free Style, three Greco Roman, and four Women’s Wrestling weight categories, commencing with official weigh-ins at 7:00 AM and matches starting promptly at 9:00 AM.

In the 61kg Free Style division, local star Anuj from Rajasthan secured gold in front of an enthusiastic home crowd, while Sumit from Haryana took silver. Ajay (Maharashtra) and Kapil (Chandigarh) shared the bronze medals.

The 74kg contest was clinched by Vivek from Uttar Pradesh, who displayed remarkable control and aggressive tactics. Saurabh from Haryana won silver, with Akash (Chandigarh) and Yesh (Delhi) taking bronze.

In the heavyweight 97kg class, Vishal from Haryana excelled to win gold, while his counterpart from Uttar Pradesh and Sahil from Services and Rajasthan completed the podium.
