New Delhi, Feb 10 (NationPress) Paul Reiffel and Richard Illingworth have been designated as on-field umpires for the eagerly awaited India-Pakistan matchup during the 2025 Champions Trophy, as announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday. The India-Pakistan match is scheduled for February 23 at the Dubai International Stadium, with Michael Gough serving as the TV umpire, Adrian Holdstock as the fourth umpire, and David Boon as the Match Referee.
While revealing the officials for all 12 league matches of the Champions Trophy, the ICC stated that Richard Kettleborough and Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid will officiate the inaugural game of the tournament, which features Pakistan facing New Zealand in Karachi on February 19.
Joel Wilson will be the TV umpire and Alex Wharf the fourth umpire, with Andrew Pycroft acting as the match referee for this tournament, marking its return for the first time since 2017, when Pakistan clinched the title in England.
