Lucknow, Feb 27 (NationPress) The UP Warriorz, captained by Deepti Sharma, have showcased exceptional performances in the current Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 and have reached their home ground in Lucknow for the very first time. Upon their arrival, the UP Warriorz received a warm welcome from fans along with a vibrant cultural event at KD Singh 'Babu' Stadium.

Despite a rocky start in Vadodara, the UP Warriorz gained traction with impressive victories against Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

One of the standout moments of the season has been Grace Harris’ hat-trick, marking the third in WPL history and the second achieved by a player from the UP Warriorz. Chinelle Henry also made headlines with her stunning 23-ball 62, where she matched the record for the joint-fastest fifty in WPL history, reaching it in just 18 balls.

Moreover, Sophie Ecclestone, currently the World’s No. 1 T20I bowler, delivered an unplayable performance, leading the UP Warriorz to a Super Over victory against RCB and earning the Player of the Match award.
