New Delhi, April 14 (NationPress) Former India wicketkeeper-batter Robin Uthappa praised Karun Nair's impressive comeback performance, scoring 89 runs off 40 balls against the Mumbai Indians during the IPL 2025 match on Sunday.
Nair, participating in his first IPL game since 2022, seized the moment effectively, hitting 12 fours and 5 sixes, and keeping Delhi in the hunt for the 206-run target. However, the home team faltered in the 19th over, where they lost three wickets off the last three deliveries, ultimately falling short by 12 runs.
This defeat marked Delhi's first of the season after a strong start of four consecutive wins, dropping them to the second position with 8 points, slightly trailing behind the Gujarat Titans due to a lesser net run rate.
