Gurugram, March 10 (NationPress) Vani Kapoor is set to pursue a third consecutive title as she prepares to tee off at her home course, the DLF Golf and Country Club, during the sixth leg of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour (WPGT) on Tuesday. The accomplished domestic golfer, who clinched victories in the fourth and fifth legs of the tour, is also vying for the top spot in the Order of Merit, currently held by Sneha Singh, who has also secured two wins this season.
This sixth leg features 40 participants, showcasing some of the top talents including Sneha Singh, Amandeep Drall, Jasmine Shekar, Ridhima Dilawari, Gaurika Bishnoi, and Neha Tripathi.
The event boasts a prize pool of Rs. 16 lakh. The DLF Golf and Country Club is renowned as a hub for women’s golf in India and is also the venue for the annual Hero Women’s Indian Open later this year.

This victory marked Vani's second consecutive win, having triumphed in the fourth leg last month. As one of the most successful figures in the history of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour, she maintained a lead since the start. The DLF golfer was the sole leader after the first round and shared the lead after 36 holes with Amandeep Drall, ultimately securing a well-deserved victory. Vani’s scores were 70-75-71 for an even-par 216 over 54 holes, finishing three shots ahead of Ridhima (76-73-70) and Rhea (74-72-73).
