Gurugram, March 4 (NationPress) Vani Kapoor, who claimed top honors in the fourth leg last month, is eager to build on her success as she participates in the fifth leg of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour at the Classic Golf & Country Club. The competition features a total of 38 players, including five amateurs, and boasts a prize pool of Rs 16 lakh.
The seasoned Vani, who triumphed in a nail-biting finish during the fourth leg, faces stiff competition from established stars like Sneha Singh, who has already secured two victories this season and currently tops the Order of Merit, as well as Amandeep Drall, who is seeking to regain her previous form that once made her a prominent contender on the Ladies European Tour, alongside Gaurika Bishnoi and Ridhima Dilawari.
In the final round of the last event, Sneha Singh and Ridhima Dilawari recorded impressive scores of 66 and 67, respectively, finishing in the top three and indicating that they are peaking at the right moment.
Many professionals are utilizing the Tour to refine their skills in preparation for their upcoming international schedules. In recent years, Indian pros have been traveling to regions like South Africa, Australia, Europe, and South East Asia for greater exposure, with several participating in the Ladies European Tour (LET).
