Gurugram, March 6 (NationPress) Veteran golfer Amandeep Drall, whose previous victory on the Women’s Professional Golf Tour occurred in this very city a year ago, has tied with Vani Kapoor at the top after two rounds in the fifth leg of the Women’s Pro Golf Tour (WPGT) 2025 at the Classic Golf & Country Club here on Thursday.
In another challenging scoring day in Gurugram, Amandeep surrendered two late bogeys on the 15th and 16th holes, finishing with a score of 2-over 74, totaling 1-over 145 for 36 holes. Vani Kapoor, who led after the first round, carded a 3-over 75, placing her in a tie with Amandeep. The leading duo is just one shot ahead of third-place Rhea Jha, who managed two birdies on the front nine and two bogeys on the back nine, concluding with an even-par 72.
Amandeep, whose last victory was at the Golden Greens in Gurugram last year, recorded one birdie at the 14th hole along with three bogeys, while her playing partner Vani Kapoor started strong with a birdie but ended with four bogeys.
