Starting the day tied for third and two shots behind the leader, Vasu Sehgal (33-67) began his round strong with two birdies in the first three holes. He then surged ahead, securing three consecutive birdies from holes ten to twelve, finishing the day with a remarkable five-under.

Sehgal, who transitioned to professional golf in 2023 after a successful junior career, demonstrated exceptional ball-striking and wedge skills, converting several easy birdie opportunities and executing impressive up-and-downs.

Expressing his thoughts, Vasu stated, “I struck my approaches effectively today, often landing close to the pin. Yet, my putting wasn't at its peak today, leading to some missed chances. After making swing and club adjustments this year, I feel my game is coming together.”

“Competing in a professional event at the Imperial Great Estate for the first time has been a thrilling experience. Fellow professionals are enjoying the course's layout and conditions. For the final round, my focus will be on hitting as many fairways and greens as I can.”
