New Delhi, Sep 22 (NationPress) The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has issued a show-cause notice to Aman Sehrawat, who won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics, after he was found to be overweight during the recently held World Wrestling Championships in Zagreb.
The third seed, Aman, was considered a significant medal hopeful in the men's 57kg freestyle division but was deemed ineligible to compete after exceeding the weight limit by 1.7kg. The WFI also directed notices to his support team present at the event.
