New Delhi, March 21 (NationPress) The iconic cricketer Yuvraj Singh has announced his participation in the upcoming second season of the World Championship of Legends (WCL), set to unfold in July in the United Kingdom.

The revered all-rounder had previously showcased remarkable leadership by steering the India Champions to victory in the tournament's first season. Joining him will be the talented opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan, who will be making his debut in the tournament after retiring from international cricket last year.

Reflecting on his role as the captain of India once more in this second edition of the tournament, which is endorsed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Yuvraj stated, “I’m eager to represent our nation at the World Championship of Legends again. The memories of our triumph in the inaugural edition, alongside my teammates, will always hold a special place in my heart.”

The prior edition of the WCL showcased thrilling performances from Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Robin Uthappa, Irfan & Yusuf Pathan, and many other cricketing legends from India, reaffirming their unwavering passion for the sport.
