Bulawayo, June 29 (NationPress) Zimbabwe opener Brian Bennett has been ruled out of the current Test match against South Africa at Queens Sports Club due to a mild concussion. Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) announced that Prince Masvaure will replace Bennett, marking his 10th appearance in Test cricket.
The injury occurred when Bennett was hit on the helmet while trying to execute a hook shot off the last delivery of the sixth over bowled by South Africa fast bowler Kwena Maphaka. He had managed to score 19 runs off 28 balls, which included four boundaries before retiring hurt.
