Hyderabad, Jan 29 (NationPress) The Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have expressed their profound sorrow following the tragic stampede that occurred during the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

Telangana's Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy, voiced his shock at the unfortunate events during the Maha Kumbh. He extended his heartfelt sympathies to the victims' families.

He emphasized that both the Union government and the Uttar Pradesh government must provide full support to the bereaved families and ensure optimal treatment for those injured.

Reddy also stated that the Telangana administration is prepared to offer any necessary assistance.

Similarly, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed his sorrow over the incident. He remarked, "I am deeply saddened by the tragic stampede at the Prayagraj Mahakumbh. My sincere condolences are with the families of those who lost their lives. Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader T. Harish Rao expressed his anguish upon learning about the deaths of numerous devotees in the stampede during the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj.

The former Telangana Minister offered his condolences to the victims' families and requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to provide maximum assistance to the bereaved families and ensure the best care for the injured.
