Mumbai, July 2 (NationPress) The newest transformation of actor Abhishek Malik, who portrays Neel in the series "Jamai No. 1", showcases him as Goddess Kaali Maa, a look inspired by Allu Arjun's legendary appearance in "Pushpa 2".
In this stunning avatar, Malik even executed a high-octane action sequence.
Expressing his excitement about this development, he said, "I was ecstatic when I learned about this track. It gave me goosebumps because the look is a total homage to Allu Arjun's iconic persona from Pushpa 2—fierce, intense, and deeply powerful. We conducted a look test, and the feedback was phenomenal," Malik shared.
Discussing the reactions he received on set, he mentioned, "Everyone on set was thrilled, and our producer even called to say, ‘This look was made for you.’ That was incredibly meaningful to me. It's something entirely different—something never seen before in Indian television.
Delving into the intense action sequence, Malik noted, "This is a high-energy track, and the presence of a significant fight sequence adds to the thrill. It resembled those grand, stylized action segments typical in Indian cinema. The process of transformation was quite demanding. It took nearly two hours to don the look, from body paint to the heavy saree and intricate temple jewelry. Every detail was meticulously crafted and quite heavy. Performing intense action sequences in this attire was physically taxing yet immensely empowering. This is undoubtedly one of the most challenging and artistically satisfying sequences I’ve ever filmed. This look is unlike anything the audience has witnessed before on Hindi GEC.
Jamai No. 1 has consistently pushed boundaries, and this track exemplifies that. We’ve been filming this sequence for over two days, and the task of removing and reapplying the paint and makeup each time is quite a challenge—but I sincerely hope the audience senses the emotion, energy, and dedication we’ve poured into it," he concluded.
