Abhishek Malik and Simran Kaur to Star in the New Series ‘Jamai No 1’

Mumbai, Dec 3 (NationPress) The talented television actors Abhishek Mallik and Simran Kaur are set to take on the lead roles in the highly anticipated Zee TV series ‘Jamai No. 1.’
The show is slated to debut on December 9 and serves as a sequel to the much-acclaimed series 'Jamai Raja', which originally starred Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma. Abhishek, renowned for his performance in 'Kumkum Bhagya', is confirmed to portray the character of Neel in this new season.
Discussing his role, Malik expressed enthusiasm, stating, “I’m excited to join Jamai No. 1, and I find my character, Neel, to be very intriguing due to his unpredictable and vibrant nature. He infuses a lot of energy into the show, and I look forward to sharing his journey with the audience. This show promises to be entertaining, engaging, and filled with surprises, and I hope my representation of Neel does justice to the show’s title.”
Simran, portraying Riddhi, shared her excitement, saying, “I am thrilled to be part of Jamai No. 1. The series offers a fresh perspective, and I can’t wait to embody Riddhi, a character who is strong, independent, and resolute. I look forward to bringing Riddhi’s unique journey to life and exploring new dimensions of relationships and family dynamics; I’m eager for the audience to connect with her.”
Papia Sengupta, playing the role of Kanchan, mentioned that her character possesses a complex personality with firm convictions regarding family and traditions, and she is looking forward to contributing that dynamic to the show.
“This role allows me to delve into various emotions and conflicts, and I am eager to see how the audience perceives her. The concept of this show is fantastic, and I believe that Kanchan’s character will bring significant depth to the narrative,” she added.
The upcoming season, produced by Prateek Sharma under Studio LSD, promises to present a captivating storyline and an innovative concept.
