Simaran Kaur: My commitment to fitness significantly boosts my on-screen performance

Mumbai, Jan 13 (NationPress) Actress Simaran Kaur, who stars in “Jamai No.1”, has adopted pilates and a balanced diet as her primary routine to stay in excellent condition. She believes that her fitness is pivotal in enhancing her on-screen presence.

Simaran stated, “I think staying fit isn’t solely about appearance; it’s about feeling strong and confident within yourself. Pilates, in particular, has been transformative for me. It not only assists me in maintaining my physique but also helps me feel centred and happy.”

She described her character Riddhi as a determined, assertive young woman who knows her desires.

“To portray that effectively on-screen, I have been focusing on my physique, body language, and posture, and what better way to achieve this than through Pilates? As an actress, I recognize the significance of both appearance and emotional connection to the character.”

She continued: “My fitness is essential in enhancing my on-screen presence, empowering me to embody the spirit of a commanding boss girl.”

In the upcoming episode, viewers will witness how Neel confronts the challenges posed by Riddhi and her mother Kanchan (Papia Sengupta) as he navigates their office dynamics.

Last month, Simaran reflected on her experiences throughout 2024, sharing valuable insights she has gained.

She mentioned, “What truly matters is maintaining focus on your craft and having faith in yourself, even in tough times. Thankfully, there were no significant setbacks, and things unfolded sequentially.”

She expressed that 2024 has been a fruitful year for her and is optimistic that 2025 will surpass the previous year.

“In 2024, I achieved a range of goals. I participated in Tose Naina Milaike on Dangal, which was a tremendous success and I nearly reached 500 episodes. My character received immense appreciation, gained a dedicated fanbase, and it was an enriching experience.”

“The audience connected profoundly with my character, and I received numerous accolades and commendations. I was unaware that I could take on a comedic role, but it turned out to be a delightful challenge, and I thoroughly enjoyed it,” Kaur added.

Simaran Kaur mentioned, “Thus, in 2024, I engaged in various projects and hope to carry forward the same positivity and success into 2025. 2024 has been an extraordinary year for me, and I feel extremely fortunate to explore so many diverse opportunities. I love pushing my limits as an artist.”
