The rejuvenated Bal Vatika promises an engaging experience that integrates knowledge, play, and science—crafted to enhance the intellectual and physical growth of children. It now features over 20 new attractions, such as a Dinosaur Park, Snow Park, Flying Theater, Wax Museum, and a state-of-the-art Virtual Reality (VR) Zone, establishing it as one of the most lively spots for families in Ahmedabad.
Officials have referred to this initiative as a “new gift for the children of Ahmedabad”, highlighting how the park combines education and entertainment through interactive and modern experiences that cater to today’s youth.
Several attractions, including the Coin House, an air-conditioned glass house, a shoe house, landscaped gardens, a selfie zone, and Gwale Station, are accessible free of charge with entry.
The redevelopment project has been executed by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s Zoo Department, focusing on revitalizing the six-decade-old facility while preserving its original essence.
