Bhopal/New Delhi, April 5 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated on Saturday that while AI is essential, it is also imperative to approach this new technology with caution.

“Currently, AI has become a vital topic. However, it is crucial to comprehend both its positive and negative implications. We must exercise caution,” the Chief Minister remarked during the seminar titled ‘Social Implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)’ held at the India Habitat Center in New Delhi.

The event was hosted by Deendayal Upadhyay Sodh Sansthan, New Delhi, to delve into this significant topic that has evolved into a transformative force across multiple industries.

Mohan Yadav, the chief guest of the program, emphasized that currently, AI has emerged as an important topic warranting comprehensive discussions regarding its societal impacts.

“During the seminar, a thorough discussion was conducted in the presence of experts,” stated the Chief Minister.

He further remarked that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government is creating opportunities for citizens to learn about new scientific advancements in the nation and leverage them for enhancing governance.

“I seized the opportunity to engage in this critical discussion organized by Deendayal Upadhyay Sodh Sansthan,” he added.

Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT, Jitin Prasada, and former Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Secretary, Vijay Kumar, now part of NITI Aayog, also participated in the dialogue about AI implementation in India.

India has experienced a notable rise in AI startups throughout the nation, especially in cities like Bengaluru and Hyderabad. These startups are dedicated to creating innovative and effective AI solutions for various sectors including education, agriculture, and healthcare.
