Mumbai, Dec 12 (NationPress) Actress Aisha Ahmed is gearing up for her role in the upcoming Netflix comedy series 'Single Papa'. She expressed her enthusiasm about working with Kunal Kummu, stating that he is truly enjoyable to collaborate with.

Aisha plays a significant role in the series and reminisces about the first call she received from Shashank's team. She said, “Our connection was instant, and the discussion left a lasting impression on me.”

While she was traveling for work, she received the call regarding Single Papa, which filled her with excitement from the very beginning, especially knowing that Shashank was at the helm of direction and that she would share the screen with Kunal.

She mentioned, “Kunal is a delight to work with. His support and the vibrant energy he brings to each scene are remarkable. Everything fell into place so perfectly; it felt like destiny.”

'Single Papa' is set to premiere on Netflix on December 12. The series features a talented cast including Manoj Pahwa, Kunal Kemmu, Dayanand Shetty, Prajakta Koli, Neha Dhupia, and Ayesha Raza Mishra.

The storyline revolves around Gaurav Gehlot, a lovable man-child with an emotional maturity that is still developing. His unexpected decision to adopt a baby immediately after his divorce shocks his family, leading them to consider a 'reset' for him. The ensuing chaos has the Gehlots scrambling to figure out how a man who misplaces his socks plans to raise a child.

Aisha's career includes a minor role in Tum Bin 2 and her debut in Arjun Mukerjee's 3 Storeys in 2018, as well as her part in the series Adulting that same year. In 2019, she co-starred with Ayush Mehra in the romantic comedy Minus One, which later had a second season titled New Chapter released in 2023 on Lionsgate Play. She has also appeared in leading roles in the MX Player series Balcony Buddies and the short film Clean directed by Zoya Parvin. Recently, she played a supporting role in Kacchey Limbu and starred in the music video 'Nadaaniyan' alongside singer Akshath Acharya.
