He captioned the post: “Celebrating 6 years of Kesari. Celebrating the spirit of Kesari. Celebrating a new chapter that begins...soon!”
Kesi follows the events leading to the Battle of Saragarhi, a confrontation between 21 Sikh soldiers of the 36th Sikh Regiment of the British Indian Army and 10,000 Afridi and Orakzai Pashtun tribesmen in 1897.
The motion poster for 'Kesari Chapter 2' suggests that it revolves around the untold story of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
On March 20, Karan Johar announced that a new director would be introduced through this film. He noted that the director dedicated 4-5 years to the project, overcoming delays caused by the pandemic.
