Mumbai, April 15 (NationPress) R Madhavan asserts that 'Kesari Chapter 2' will demonstrate to the world the true potential of Indians.

During the grand premiere of this historical drama held in Delhi,

the '3 Idiots' star expressed his pride in being part of numerous historical films that narrate inspiring tales about our nation. Nonetheless, he believes that 'Kesari Chapter 2' will stand out as his most significant film.

Madhavan elaborated, 'I just think they should see the film, the message is very, very loud and clear, we are a very proud country with very proud people. The days of underestimating Indians and perceiving us as weak are long gone.'

He emphasized the importance of the film in showcasing what we can achieve.

The special screening of 'Kesari Chapter 2', which took place on Tuesday,

was graced by several notable political figures and dignitaries. Alongside Madhavan, the event featured Akshay Kumar, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, and Minister Anurag Thakur.

Akshay also spoke at the screening, expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for recognizing lawyer-nationalist C. Sankaran Nair.

“I am truly grateful and delighted that he has acknowledged this… He has been aware of it from the start, and it is very generous of him to recognize it, especially as the movie is about to be released,” Akshay shared.

A spiritual sequel to the 2019 historical war film 'Kesari', this movie is based on the book 'The Case That Shook The Empire' by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, focusing on the life of C. Sankaran Nair and the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.

'Kesari Chapter 2' is set to hit theaters on April 18.
