The incident transpired around 2:30 a.m. when the ambulance lost control due to an oil spill from a parked palm oil tanker on the roadway.
Sub-Inspector Sher Singh Meena from Bagru Police Station confirmed that the loss of control was caused by the oil slick. He elaborated, "A gravel dumper collided with a stationary palm oil tanker, resulting in a leak that spread across the road. Shortly thereafter, an ambulance traveling from Kishangarh skidded on the slick surface and collided with a truck parked at the roadside."
There were five occupants in the ambulance, including the driver, at the time of the accident.
The deceased were identified as Dinesh Kumari (55), a resident of Kishangarh, Ajmer, and Vicky alias Veeram Singh (31), son of Govind Singh, both of whom tragically died at the scene.
