Buxar, Oct 25 (NationPress) Former IPS officer and BJP candidate for the Buxar Sadar constituency, Anand Mishra, confidently declared on Saturday that he expects to emerge victorious in the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections. He emphasized that the residents of Bihar are now aware of the NDA's dedication to welfare and development.
His comments followed a day after Union Home Minister Amit Shah delivered a vigorous critique of RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav and the Mahagathbandhan during a significant rally in Siwan, charging them with attempting to resurrect the 'jungle raj' era in Bihar.
While addressing the media, Mishra stated, "It should be clear by now that our BJP and the NDA genuinely prioritize the welfare and progress of Bihar. Our aim is to promote suitable candidates who can unite society, advocate for the principle of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,' and contribute to constructing a Viksit Bharat with a Viksit Bihar and Viksit Buxar."
Regarding the community's reaction to Amit Shah's rally in Buxar, Mishra remarked, "Home Minister Amit Shah was warmly welcomed in Buxar, and the enthusiastic response from the crowd to his every statement demonstrated their confidence in the Indian government. Everyone present committed to advancing towards a brighter future for Buxar and Bihar with determination to create a prosperous Bihar."
Critiquing dynastic politics, he noted, "Historically, politics often served personal or family interests. However, today, Bihar has awakened—it has influenced the nation's political landscape. This time, Bihar is resolute in not providing opportunities to those who would jeopardize its progress for selfish reasons."
BJP National Secretary Rituraj Sinha echoed Mishra's optimism, asserting that the people will grant a significant victory to the NDA.
Speaking with IANS, Sinha remarked, "Whatever was missing in the 2020 Assembly elections and the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Shahabad has now been addressed. The people have resolved to deliver a substantial victory to the NDA. The large turnout and enthusiasm at Amit Shah's rally in Buxar clearly indicated that Shahabad will lead in reinstating the NDA in power."
"We have garnered immense support from the Buxar populace. Tomorrow, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will also visit the district. This time, the NDA is expected to secure all 22 seats in Shahabad," he added.
The Bihar Legislative Assembly elections are set to take place in two phases on November 6 and 11 to elect 243 members, with vote counting and results to be announced on November 14.
