Andhra Pradesh CM Advocates for Enhanced Technological Integration in Governance

Amaravati, Dec 10 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, on Tuesday instructed the leaders of all state departments to utilize technology extensively to enhance the effectiveness of administration.

During a review meeting with officials from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) and other departments, he stated that the information from all departments should be unified through the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) to enable comprehensive monitoring.

The Chief Minister emphasized that all essential information should be collected initially and then integrated to ultimately deliver the best services via WhatsApp.

Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to develop a system that utilizes WhatsApp as a platform for issuing certificates, such as caste and income certificates. He also mentioned that public appeals should be resolved promptly using technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and DeepTech.

He proposed that RTGS should evaluate the complaint resolution process and assess public satisfaction levels.

The Chief Minister requested the integration of visuals obtained from drones, CCTV cameras, satellites, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

Noting that ganja plantations recently identified via Google Maps were verified using drones, he instructed officials to employ drones similarly to detect pests in crops and alert farmers. Drones should also be utilized to investigate the causes of road accidents on highways to address the issues contributing to these incidents.

The officials reported that farmers are satisfied with grain procurement in the state, with over 90 percent expressing contentment regarding prices, transportation facilities, availability of gunny bags, and timely payments, as revealed through IVRS feedback. The Chief Minister expressed that improved services could result from understanding satisfaction levels.

Chandrababu also advised officials to analyze social media posts carefully and take appropriate actions. When informed that household geo-tagging was nearing completion, he emphasized the need for proper oversight of the process.

The Chief Minister is particularly focused on bringing Aadhar services closer to the public, allocating Rs 20 crore for necessary kits. He announced the establishment of 1,000 Aadhar centers across all village and ward secretariats promptly.

Chandrababu stated that a unified portal will be developed to monitor various projects in the state, along with real-time updates on 80 projects undertaken by the central government.

He instructed the creation of a new web portal by January 1 to permanently address challenges related to issuing birth and death certificates.
