Bhopal, Aug 20 (NationPress) The young and determined advocate Archana Tiwari, who was found in Kathmandu, Nepal late on Tuesday, had meticulously orchestrated her own mysterious disappearance with the help of two to three friends. After deboarding at Itarsi railway station, she journeyed to Shujalpur in Shajapur district where she stayed for two days. Following this, she traveled to Hyderabad, then to Jodhpur, and subsequently made her way to New Delhi before heading to Nepal. Notably, one of her accomplices, Tejendra Singh, who contributed to her plan, is currently incarcerated at Tihar Central Jail in New Delhi, as stated by Bhopal Railway SP Rahul Kumar Lodha.
According to Lodha, Archana Tiwari devised this plan to evade an impending marriage. She believed that by vanishing for a few days, her family would cease discussions about her marriage, allowing her to return to her normal life. However, extensive media coverage prompted her to reach out to her family and reveal her location.
A police representative indicated that Tejendra Singh, who has a criminal history, was recently apprehended by Delhi Police in connection with another incident, resulting in his transfer to Tihar Central Jail. Another male associate involved in this conspiracy, Saransh Jain, has been taken into custody by the Bhopal Police. Saransh's arrest led to the unveiling of the entire scheme, as he had known Archana for several years while working at a private firm in Indore.
Lodha reported that Archana had been experiencing significant pressure from her family to abandon her academic pursuits and marry a Patwari. Babita Kataria, a female GRP officer who located Archana Tiwari at the India-Nepal border in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, mentioned that she was alone in Nepal. "Initially, we traveled to New Delhi and then to Nepal. She was by herself there," Kataria, stationed in Gwalior, confirmed.
The case garnered significant media attention after Archana's bag, filled with Rakshabandhan gifts, was discovered abandoned at Umaria station. Her last known communication occurred on August 7, when she called her aunt, after which her phone went silent. Archana has since been reunited with her family.
Nevertheless, numerous questions remain unanswered as the police continue their investigation.
