Patna, March 1 (NationPress) Bihar Rural Works Department Minister Ashok Choudhary on Saturday urged RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav to cease his worries regarding the political introduction of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's son Nishant Kumar and instead concentrate on his party, which is nearing a potential split.
Following a ceremony where teachers received their appointment letters in Patna, Minister Choudhary aimed pointed criticism at Tejashwi, suggesting that his preoccupation with Nishant's political prospects was unwarranted.
He stated, "For Nishant Kumar, his father Nitish Kumar is available to provide direction. Tejashwi Yadav should redirect his attention towards his brother Tej Pratap Yadav and the RJD, which is on the brink of division."
Previously, Tejashwi had pushed for Nishant Kumar to enter politics promptly.
Tejashwi cautioned that "if Nishant does not affiliate with the JD(U), the party established by Sharad Yadav will deteriorate."
The Minister dismissed Tejashwi's worries, asserting that JD(U) leaders and members would be keen to welcome Nishant should he choose to engage in politics.
He also forecasted a significant discord within RJD, claiming, "There will be disruptions in RJD shortly. Tejashwi should concentrate on his party instead of Nishant Kumar."
Nishant has, up to this point, remained distant from active politics.
Nevertheless, as the political climate intensifies, JD(U) leaders may be laying the groundwork for Nishant's prospective leadership role within the party.
Minister Choudhary strongly reproached Tejashwi, countering his assertions that CM Nitish has damaged Bihar.
Choudhary reminded Tejashwi of Bihar's state prior to 2005 when his parents Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi were in charge.
He remarked, "Before 2005, Bihar was in dire straits. Extortion and criminal activities were rampant, and 118 massacres occurred. What had Tejashwi’s parents accomplished for Bihar?"
Referencing official data, Minister Choudhary highlighted Bihar's economic progress under CM Nitish.
"In 2005, Bihar's per capita income stood at Rs 7,000, which has soared to Rs 66,000 today. This clearly illustrates how CM Nitish has contributed to Bihar's advancement," Minister Choudhary stated.
On Saturday, numerous leaders and ministers, including Ashok Choudhary, extended their congratulations to CM Nitish on his 75th birthday.
Choudhary visited CM Nitish in his office, presented him with a bouquet, and wished him a long, healthy life.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and national and state leaders also conveyed their best wishes to the Bihar CM.
