Patna, July 31 (NationPress) In preparation for the forthcoming Independence Day festivities, Patna District Magistrate Tyagarajan S.M. and Senior Superintendent of Police Kartikeya Sharma conducted a comprehensive inspection of Gandhi Maidan, the historic site for the state's major event.
In keeping with tradition, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to raise the National Flag at Gandhi Maidan during the significant state ceremony on Independence Day.
During the review, the District Magistrate meticulously assessed the ongoing preparations, which included the construction of pandals, security measures, and arrangements for emergency services, traffic, and crowd management.
He instructed all officials to ensure the prompt completion of tasks and emphasized the importance of zero negligence in any aspect of the event's planning.
To facilitate smooth public participation, 10 pandals and designated seating areas are being created for attendees, along with separate entry and exit routes to ensure crowd control and security.

A highlight of this year's celebrations will be the presentation of 13 magnificent tableaux, which will illustrate Bihar's rich cultural heritage, historical milestones, and developmental achievements.

"Currently, preparations for 13 tableaux are in full swing, with a potential for an additional tableau. We had an in-depth meeting with the development commissioner, Pratyay Amrit, on Wednesday, and we are adhering to his directives for the event," stated Tyagarajan.
