New Delhi, April 6 (NationPress) - On Monday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with prominent leaders of the BJP conveyed their warm wishes to party members on the momentous occasion of the party's Foundation Day. They emphasized the party's commitment to nationalism, development, and a deep dedication to the welfare of all citizens.

The leaders highlighted the party's evolution from its inception by Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay to its status as the world's largest political entity.

HM Shah shared on X, “I extend my heartfelt greetings to all BJP workers on this foundation day, which is dedicated to the principle of Nation First. The formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party, inspired by the nationalist ideologies of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Ji and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ji, represented more than just a political milestone; it was a commitment to national renewal. Rooted in the principle of serving the most marginalized, the BJP under Prime Minister Modi has realized the vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’.

“The BJP has fortified the foundations of democracy, liberating the nation from appeasement politics while promoting good governance and transparency. Today, the BJP stands not just as a party but as a voice for the dreams and aspirations of 1.4 billion Indians,” he stated.

Union Minister J.P. Nadda also shared his wishes with party workers, saying, “On this Foundation Day of the world’s largest political entity, the Bharatiya Janata Party, I send my sincere congratulations and best wishes to all the dedicated workers.”

“On this significant day, I express my deepest gratitude to all the esteemed founders and leaders whose relentless efforts, struggles, and sacrifices have nurtured the party and elevated it to the forefront of national politics. Our commitment to ‘Antyodaya’ has driven substantial changes through service, governance, and welfare for the needy. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also extended his congratulations. The BJP was founded in 1980 following a split from the Janata Party, tracing its lineage back to the Bharatiya Jana Sangh established in 1951 by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Since then, it has evolved into one of India's principal national parties, emphasizing cultural nationalism and development.
