New Delhi, April 6 (NationPress) On the occasion of the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Foundation Day, the National President Nitin Nabin conveyed his warm regards to all party members, encouraging them to recommit to the principle of 'Nation First' and collaborate towards realizing the vision of a 'Viksit Bharat'.
Founded in 1980 following a split from the Janata Party, the BJP has its roots in the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, established in 1951 by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. Over the years, it has evolved into one of India's preeminent national parties, emphasizing cultural nationalism and development.
In a message shared via social media, BJP chief Nabin remarked, 'On this significant day marking the foundation of our party, I send my best wishes to all the devoted workers of the world's largest political organization.'
Nabin highlighted that the party's enduring vision of 'Antyodaya' (upliftment of the least privileged) is being fulfilled under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
'This journey, from the era of the Jana Sangh to our current status as the largest party globally, is a tale of the sacrifice, discipline, and commitment of numerous workers. The aspiration of 'Antyodaya', envisioned by Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, is now being transformed into reality under the esteemed leadership of Prime Minister Modi.'
Nabin urged everyone to reaffirm their vow of 'Nation First' and to channel their collective energies towards developing a 'Viksit Bharat'.
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi also reached out to BJP members, wishing them well on the party's Foundation Day, highlighting the longstanding commitment to public service and the 'India First' principle.
In a post on X, PM Modi stated, 'Warm greetings to all BJP Karyakartas across the nation on our party's Sthapana Diwas. Our party has consistently been at the forefront of serving society, driven by the 'India First' principle. Our Karyakartas exemplify selfless service, unwavering commitment, and a fervent passion for effective governance. They have tirelessly worked at the grassroots level, connecting numerous individuals to our ideology and initiatives.'
The Prime Minister also paid tribute to those workers whose 'dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance' have been pivotal in shaping the party's trajectory over the years.
He concluded, 'The BJP is a party that prioritizes the welfare of its citizens in its vision. This is evident in our initiatives at both the Central and state levels. The BJP remains steadfast in its commitment to establishing a 'Viksit Bharat'. May our unified determination continue to propel this vision forward and elevate India to unprecedented heights of progress and prosperity.'
