Founded in 1980 following a division from the Janata Party, the BJP has its roots in the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, established in 1951 by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. The party has evolved into one of the leading national political entities in India, prioritizing cultural nationalism and development.
In a post on X, PM Modi expressed, “I extend warm wishes to all BJP Karyakartas across the nation on our party’s Sthapana Diwas. Our Party is consistently at the forefront of societal service, guided by the India First principle. Our Karyakartas are recognized for their altruistic service, unwavering commitment, and profound enthusiasm for effective governance. They have diligently worked at the grassroots level, ensuring that our ideology and initiatives reach as many people as possible.”
He also honored the workers whose dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance have contributed to the party's development over the years.
The Prime Minister remarked, “The BJP is dedicated to placing the welfare of the populace at the heart of its vision.
