Jaipur, Jan 16 (NationPress) Rajasthan BJP in-charge Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal has labeled Congress leader Rahul Gandhi a fool for his treasonous remarks directed at Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat. In a statement on the social media platform X, Aggarwal remarked, "Any fool who deliberately misrepresents statements due to a weak mindset and accuses Mohan Bhagwat of treason can only be Rahul Gandhi. I vehemently condemn this."

He further described Gandhi's comments as indicative of a "poor mentality" and accused him of making such statements to tarnish the reputation of the Sangh and the BJP.

"Rahul Gandhi is overstepping all boundaries... After being rejected by the nation and political parties, he is targeting the RSS Chief to gain media attention and appease the minority community," the BJP leader asserted.

On Monday, the RSS chief stated, "The day of the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya should be commemorated as 'Pratishtha Dwadashi' as it signifies the "true Independence" of Bharat."

In response to Bhagwat's comments, Gandhi argued that the latter's statements belittled the freedom struggle and the Constitution, suggesting they could be deemed treasonous.

He further contended that in any other nation, such a statement would have resulted in Bhagwat's arrest and prosecution.

Gandhi's charge of 'treason' against the RSS chief ignited a fierce backlash from senior BJP leaders, including Union Ministers and national spokespersons, who launched a vigorous attack on the Congress leader.

On Monday, the RSS chief emphasized that the Ram Mandir was not merely an aandolan (movement) but a 'yagya' for the Hindu community. He noted that the temple's construction should have occurred much earlier but was postponed due to certain forces.

He added that the Ram temple movement was not initiated to oppose anyone but to awaken the 'self' of Bharat so that the country could become self-reliant and provide guidance to the world.
