The primary suspect, Mohammad Danish, is accused of assaulting her. The victim was taken to the hospital the following morning due to excessive bleeding, which resulted from her condition worsening.
The Ranchi Police's Special Investigation Team (SIT), working in conjunction with the technical cell, apprehended the main suspect, Mohammad Danish, along with his accomplice, Fahad Mallik, in Kharagpur, West Bengal. Previously, the victim’s friend, implicated in the conspiracy, was arrested in Ranchi.
Another suspect, Shadab, who had been evading capture, turned himself in at court on Saturday and was subsequently remanded for additional questioning. Police reported that evidence has been gathered, and measures are being taken to facilitate a quick trial leading to conviction.
