Jaipur, Sep 30 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma asserted that the state administration is dedicated to the advancement of villages, farmers, women, and the economically disadvantaged.
During the ceremony for the foundation stone laying and inauguration of development initiatives under Seva Pakhwada in Jaitaran, Beawar, he characterized this two-week campaign as a significant tool for promoting effective governance, facilitating access to public amenities, and fostering comprehensive development for every citizen.
The Chief Minister pointed out that Seva Pakhwada, which commenced on September 17 in celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, embodies the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.” Both rural and urban Seva Camps have been organized throughout the state to ensure that the most vulnerable populations benefit from government programs.
“In rural camps, assistance is provided for land registration, leases, Girdawari, Qurejat, name transfers, certificates, and connections to welfare schemes. Urban camps focus on road and drainage repairs, beautification, trade licensing, building approvals, tax payments, and EWS certificates,” he elaborated.
To date, 4,121 rural camps have facilitated approximately 53,000 name transfers and 54,000 corrections, distributed over 82,000 crop insurance policies under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, and resolved more than 78,000 pending NFSA cases.
Additionally, over 64,000 Swamitva leases and 85,000 Mangala Pashu Bima Yojana animal insurances have been issued. Urban camps have provided 8,000 leases and 42,000 certificates.
He noted that the government has achieved remarkable progress in energy, infrastructure, and employment.
Farmers in 22 districts now have access to daytime electricity. Projects such as the Ramjal Setu Link Project, Yamuna Water Agreement, and energy initiatives—including the Banswara nuclear plant—are reshaping the growth landscape of Rajasthan.
So far, 91,000 youths have secured government positions, with 154,000 posts currently under consideration, while private sector opportunities are expanding through investment projects totaling Rs 4 lakh crore.
Sharma commended social initiatives under PM Modi, highlighting campaigns like Swachh Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and environmental awareness efforts. He noted that Rajasthan has planted 19 crore trees in two years as part of a target to plant 50 crore trees.
In closing, the Chief Minister emphasized Jaitaran's rich historical and cultural significance and reiterated the government's dedication to inclusive development and public service, unveiling projects valued at Rs 362 crore for the area.
