Jammu, Jan 17 (NationPress) Cadets from the National Cadet Corps (NCC) representing Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh came together to engage in the Exchange Participants Association of India (EXPA) initiative on the fourth day of the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' camp held in Jammu.
The Defence Ministry's Spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Suneel Bartwal, commented, "Embarking on a transformative two-day journey, the EXPA CADET Programme on Day Four of the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' Camp was an extraordinary experience for Senior Division and Senior Wing cadets from Rajasthan, Jammu Kashmir, and Ladakh Directorates."
"This event, organized under the NCC Directorate of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, exemplified learning that transcends traditional textbooks. A committed team of 10 skilled trainers led the initiative, which was purposefully designed to extend beyond mere knowledge sharing," he added.
"EXPA's primary goal was to ignite an inner spark in each cadet, transforming them from curious observers into confident change ambassadors."
The two-day, 10-hour intensive program was not a typical workshop; it was an immersive experience that kept participants actively engaged.
The sessions were vibrant, thought-stimulating, and undeniably captivating. Rather than simply imparting communication skills, the program pushed cadets to step outside their comfort zones, unlearn self-doubt, and embrace confidence.
What truly enhanced the experience was the real-world applicability of the sessions, along with dynamic mentorship.
From the outset, the atmosphere was filled with energy, curiosity, and bravery. Trainers transformed complex concepts into interactive activities, ensuring that learning was both practical and impactful. Cadets were organized into smaller groups, encouraging collaboration, teamwork, and active participation.
The so-called 'Addiction Factor' of EXPA became evident as introverted participants found their voices, shy students emerged as leaders, and young minds honed their critical thinking skills.
The program successfully fostered a safe environment for failure, learning, and growth, cultivating resilience and self-confidence. Far beyond a standard training module, EXPA represented a dynamic transformation, shaping youth who are equipped with essential skills in public speaking, decision-making, time management, and leadership.
The journey was enriching and profoundly introspective, laying robust foundations for a confident and creative generation of cadets prepared to lead boldly into the future," the statement concluded.
