New Delhi, Jan 24 (NationPress) Individuals throughout India rejoiced as the rollout of appointments commenced under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's prominent 'Rozgar Mela' initiative.

A candidate from Nagpur in Maharashtra shared with IANS, "There was a vacancy for the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) General Duty (GD), and I was chosen for the CRPF. Our library instructor guided us and made us aware of the application form process."

In Delhi, another individual who received a job appointment letter attributed his success to his family's unwavering support, stating, "My family’s support was pivotal to my success. I have received countless blessings from them. I am deeply grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for organizing this employment fair and providing us with appointment letters."

Chandigarh witnessed numerous candidates celebrating their job letters.

A candidate from Chandigarh expressed to IANS, "After completing my Class 12, I was passionate about serving the nation and aimed to join the Army. I advanced through most stages, but final selection eluded me due to age constraints. Therefore, I prepared for SSC GD and ultimately succeeded."

Another candidate praised the 'Rozgar Mela' Yojana, stating, "The employment fair (Rozgar Mela Yojana) is an excellent initiative. Any diligent student can secure a position here. During this initiative, many young individuals have found jobs, making this program extraordinarily beneficial for them."

Candidates from Chandigarh also detailed their appointment letters, with one stating, "I have been selected for the CISF as a Constable, and my training commences on February 16 in Deoli, Rajasthan," while another added, "I have been chosen for the ITBP. My brother was selected for the CISF as well, and I am thrilled to join through this employment fair."

In Patna, Bihar, one individual selected as a Rifleman in the Assam Rifles for 2025 expressed his excitement, saying, "Today, on January 24, 2026, I have been invited to the employment fair at Urja Auditorium in Patna to receive my appointment letter. I am extremely delighted and will carry out my responsibilities with integrity and diligence."

Another candidate from Patna described the experience as transformative, stating, "I am incredibly happy, more than I have ever been. It feels wonderful. My family shares in my joy. I can genuinely sense it."

The Rozgar Mela initiative continues to serve as a platform for the youth of India to secure government employment, aiding their ambitions and contributing to national development.

The Rozgar Mela Yojana is a flagship program initiated by the Narendra Modi-led Union government aimed at accelerating recruitment across various government departments and organizations in a mission mode.

It acts as a conduit for job seekers to directly receive appointment letters and join the public workforce. Earlier on Saturday, during the 18th edition of this employment fair, over 61,000 job appointment letters were distributed to young candidates across multiple government sectors.
