Patna, April 25 (NationPress) The Mahagathbandhan, led by Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, conducted a candlelight vigil on Friday, starting from Income Tax Golambar (JP statue) to Dak Bungalow Square in response to the terror assault in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, honoring the victims.
While addressing the crowd at Dak Bungalow Square, Yadav criticized the attack, labeling it as “a disgrace to humanity.”
He stated: “We support any measures taken by the Government of India to eliminate terrorism from our nation. This terrorist act is a shameful incident, and no level of condemnation will suffice.”
Yadav highlighted that the candlelight march was more than just a symbolic action; it was a united expression of sorrow and solidarity.
“Today, Mahagathbandhan has united to honor the victims and express solidarity with their families,” he remarked.
