Chief Minister Majhi Expresses Gratitude to PM Modi for Attending the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas

Bhubaneswar, Jan 10 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, expressed his heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for gracing the three-day 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention held in Bhubaneswar.
CM Majhi remarked that the presence of PM Modi has significantly enhanced the success and significance of the event.
“Your esteemed presence on Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has elevated this occasion to a new level. Your leadership has inspired renewed hope and enthusiasm among the NRIs gathered here and motivated them to contribute towards a Viksit Bharat. I sincerely appreciate your support,” CM Majhi conveyed on his ‘X’ account.
Earlier, on Thursday, PM Modi officially inaugurated the ‘Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention’, marking its first occurrence in Odisha. Approximately 5,000 delegates from various parts of the world attended this grand three-day event.
“Today, during Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, I participated in the PBD programme in Bhubaneswar. It is remarkable how Odisha is positioning itself as a dynamic venue for such international gatherings,” stated PM Modi, who was pleased with the successful organization of the event.
While addressing the Indian diaspora at the convention on Thursday, PM Modi said, “The land of Odisha, where all of you have assembled today, exemplifies India's rich heritage. In Odisha, our heritage is evident at every turn.”
Additionally, PM Modi inaugurated four exhibitions at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas venue: 'Vishwaroop Ram', which showcases the global influence of the Ramayana, ‘Diaspora's Contribution to Technology’, ‘Bharat Bharatiya: Swadesh Pardes’ which highlights the migration history from Gujarat to Oman, and an ‘Exhibition on Heritage and Culture of Odisha’ that emphasizes the enduring beauty of Odisha’s historical and cultural legacy.
The Prime Minister later mentioned that these exhibitions represent various facets of India’s historical and cultural richness. He also remotely initiated the inaugural journey of the Pravasi Bharatiya Express, a special tourist train aimed at the Indian diaspora.
