Chengdu (China), Dec 3 (NationPress) China decisively triumphed over Croatia with a score of 8-0, marking their fourth consecutive victory at the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Mixed Team World Cup on Wednesday. The mixed doubles Olympic champions, Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha, laid the foundation for the win by defeating Ivor Ban and Hana Arapovic with scores of 11-6, 11-5, 11-5.
Sun remarked, "As the tournament progresses, our opponents will become tougher. Every individual match is crucial for the overall outcome; we hope to maintain our unity and give our all in each match to secure victory."
Kuai Man contributed another three points for the defending champions by overcoming Ivana Malobabic 11-2, 11-5, 11-5, according to reports from Xinhua. "Their player lineup was slightly different from our expectations. I made necessary adjustments before the match against a chopper, and I demonstrated my skills today," Kuai commented.
Lin Shidong sealed China's dominating performance by defeating Tomislav Pucar 14-12, 11-4. "With my teammates already having secured a 6-0 lead in games, I felt calm and confident entering my match, which allowed me to perform at my best," Lin stated.
