Patna, April 24 (NationPress) Union Food Processing Minister Chirag Paswan firmly stood by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the wake of the recent rally in Bihar's Madhubani district, which coincided with the Pahalgam terror attack in Kashmir.
Paswan dismissed the criticisms as unjustified and anti-national, asserting: “Those who are questioning the Prime Minister have no authority to do so. Although he (PM Modi) was abroad, he promptly took action—he communicated with Home Minister Amit Shah, instructed him to visit Pahalgam, and returned to India by midnight, truncating his trip.”
He emphasized that PM Modi's ability to react promptly and thoughtfully during national emergencies is unquestionable.
“The opposition is attempting to damage the country's global reputation. The event in Madhubani today was not just an election rally; it was aimed at unveiling welfare initiatives for the underprivileged. The Prime Minister conveyed a powerful message to India’s adversaries through this rally and will respond appropriately when necessary,” he remarked.
He underscored that the Modi administration is already implementing measures, and the country will soon witness how India counters such terrorist threats.
“The Prime Minister's attendance at this event, devoid of any distractions, sends a definitive message of strength and determination,” Paswan stated.
He also commented on the escalating discord within the Mahagathbandhan, directing a remark at Tejashwi Yadav.
“Tejashwi Yadav holds himself in high regard. The way he interacts with others in the Mahagathbandhan—those individuals should now voice their concerns,” Paswan concluded.
