Amaravati, Jan 19 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, had a significant meeting with Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam on Monday, immediately after arriving in Zurich for the World Economic Forum.
Taking to the social media platform X, the Chief Minister expressed his happiness over this meeting with the Singaporean leader.
Additionally, he engaged with World Bank Group President Ajay Banga during his time in Zurich.
Leading a delegation comprising Ministers and officials, Chief Minister Naidu also met with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
On social media, CM Naidu acknowledged CM Sarma's historic achievement as the first Chief Minister from Assam to attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
He congratulated Sarma and wished him the best in his endeavors.
Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed at the Zurich airport by Indian Ambassador to Switzerland Mridul Kumar.
Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu accompanied him.

Under the theme 'A Spirit of Dialogue', this meeting presents a proud opportunity to represent Andhra Pradesh and its people on a global stage that gathers leaders from various sectors to shape the future," CM Naidu stated on X, expressing gratitude to Ambassador Mridul Kumar for the warm welcome.
A large number of Telugu people, NRIs, and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supporters from over 20 European nations welcomed the Chief Minister.
CM Naidu and his accompanying Ministers will be participating in the four-day World Economic Forum summit, aiming to attract investments.
Approximately 3,000 delegates from around 130 countries are anticipated to attend the summit.
Seven Chief Ministers from India are also participating in the event.
With numerous representatives from leading companies present, the Andhra Pradesh government has prepared detailed presentations to showcase investment opportunities within the state.
