Madrid, June 3 (NationPress) The all-party parliamentary delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi has successfully wrapped up its visit to Spain early on Tuesday, firmly conveying India’s zero-tolerance stance against terrorism.
The Indian Embassy in Spain shared on X, "The visit of the All-Party Parliamentary Delegation to Spain was fruitful in effectively communicating India’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism to government officials, legislators, civil society, and the Indian diaspora, thereby enhancing bilateral relations and mutual understanding."
Before concluding their trip, the delegation engaged with intellectuals, academicians, think tank representatives, and members of civil society. During these discussions, foundation members voiced their support for India's initiatives and explored strategies to combat terrorism.

This delegation also comprised Samajwadi Party MP Rajeev Rai, BJP MP Captain Brijesh Chowta (Retd.), RJD MP Prem Chand Gupta, AAP MP Ashok Kumar Mittal, and Former Deputy Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations, Ambassador Manjeev Singh Puri.
Earlier on Monday, the delegation interacted with the Association of Victims of Terrorism (AVT), a Spanish organization formed in 1981 to assist those impacted by terrorist acts, sharing India’s experiences in addressing cross-border threats and reaffirming a mutual commitment to fostering a safer and more compassionate world.
The AVT supports over 4,800 members, focusing on individuals directly affected by terrorism, including those who have not received compensation.
This visit to Spain was part of India's global diplomatic initiative to emphasize the importance of Operation Sindoor and India's ongoing struggle against Pakistan-sponsored cross-border terrorism. The delegation's engagements in Latvia, Greece, Slovenia, and Russia have reinforced India’s strong commitment to combating terrorism.
