In a show of generosity, she contributed Rs 1 lakh towards the renovation of the Valmiki Temple located in Trilokpuri.
During her visit, the residents of Trilokpuri honored her by placing a turban on her head, a gesture of respect and welcome.
While addressing the gathering, Rekha Gupta expressed her profound joy in celebrating this important occasion with the community, emphasizing the role of Lord Valmiki in everyone’s lives.
“Without his existence, we would lack the understanding of the life and character of Lord Ram. His storytelling in the Ramayana has enlightened us about Lord Ram’s journey,” she stated.
She pledged to accelerate developmental initiatives in Trilokpuri, assuring the audience that her government would provide all necessary support and funding for the area's progress.
“The Trilokpuri Assembly must be transformed into Ram Rajya. I have instructed the Trilokpuri legislator, Ravi Kant, to prioritize development without concerns about funding,” she told the enthusiastic crowd, prompting cheers and applause.
Discussing the importance of Maharishi Valmiki, she noted that when the magnificent Ram Temple was constructed in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Modi ensured that a temple dedicated to Lord Valmiki was also established nearby.
