New Delhi, April 20 (NationPress) In a significant action against drug trafficking, the Delhi Police have dismantled a ganja supply network, apprehending a supplier and two street-level peddlers with over 3 kilograms of illicit substances.
An official announcement from the South-West District revealed that the operation, conducted by the Kishangarh Police Station, resulted in the arrest of three suspects along with the recovery of 3.142 Kg of ganja.
The arrested individuals were identified as K. Kainaka Rochill (20) from Munirka, Orjit Lama (29) from Shani Bazar Road, Kishangarh, and Puloto (24), a distributor from the same area, all hailing from Dimapur, Nagaland.
According to police reports, on April 4, a patrol team stopped two suspicious men near Aruna Asaf Ali Road. A search revealed the presence of contraband ganja, and the suspects failed to provide any legitimate documentation.
As a result, an FIR (No. 93/2026) was filed under Section 20 of the NDPS Act, leading to the immediate arrest of Orjit Lama and Puloto. Further inquiries implicated Kainaka Rochill as the supplier.
