New Delhi, April 5 (NationPress) In a significant achievement, the Delhi Police have captured a notorious and desperate criminal following a precise operation grounded in actionable intelligence.

A press statement released by the Special Staff of South District police on Sunday revealed that Akshat Maheshwari, 25, who hails from Rajapuri, Bharat Vihar, Dwarka, Delhi (currently residing in Sangam Vihar, Delhi), was wanted in five criminal matters, which encompass robbery, burglary, and vehicle theft.

He had also been designated a Proclaimed Offender in robbery and vehicle theft cases and had been on the run for 1.4 years, frequently altering his hiding locations.

The statement noted, “The attentive team of Special Staff, South District, has performed admirably by capturing a desperate robber, auto-thief, and burglar, named Akshat Maheshwari.”

This operation was executed under the guidance of senior officials as part of a focused initiative to locate proclaimed offenders. During a thorough review, Maheshwari was identified as a proclaimed offender in two separate cases.
