Sydney, Dec 28 (NationPress) Authorities in New South Wales (NSW), Australia, took a 47-year-old male into custody on Sunday following the discovery of a deceased woman and an injured man who had been stabbed in Sydney's northwest region.
According to a statement from NSW police, emergency services responded to a residence shortly before 5:00 a.m. local time in Quakers Hill, roughly 40 km northwest of Sydney's central business district, after receiving reports of a disturbance.
Upon their arrival, officers located a man on the footpath with visible stab wounds, while a woman was found lifeless inside the house. The woman's identity has not yet been confirmed, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
